ragnarban02

Welcome to 'The Ragnar Brothers' web site.

The Ragnar Timer has been designed to allow games to be played with some control over the time taken by players. It is hoped that the Ragnar Timer will also address the spoiling effect of slow play.

At the start of the game, each player can colour-code their clock and type in their name.

When a player begins their turn simply click ‘Continue’ on their clock. When they have finished their turn, simply press ‘Pause’.

Each clock can be re-set to zero by pressing ‘Re-set’.

Players will need to agree criteria for each different game. This will generally incorporate a time allowance per player and forfeits if a player goes over-time.

For example; if playing ‘Canal Mania’ each player is allocated a total playing time of 20 minutes. For each minute a player uses in over-time, 1 point is deducted from their final score.

If you would like to buy a copy of the programme to run on your laptop or PC email gary.dicken@ntlworld.com each disc costs £5.00 plus postage - so tell me where you are in the world when you email me.
